About the Ministry
EWCC college ministry is aimed for young adults who are either in college or starting out in their careers. We meet every Sunday at 4pm at the fellowship hall of Magnolia Baptist Church.
There are 4 directives and objectives of the college ministry:
- Grow – To grow in the grace and knowledge of our God and Lord Jesus Christ by gaining the most accurate picutre of God (His character and attributes) as possible through the study of God’s revelation in the Bible (2 Peter 3:18).
- Love – With the knowledge we gain about God, we want to love God more for who He is with all our heart, soul, and mind and we want to love his people the same (Luke 10:27).
- Outreach – One way we can love God and his people is to evangelize the lost who do not know God and tell them how to have a relationship with God. That is, through the saving works of Jesus on the cross for the forgivenss of sins (John 20:31). See the “What is the Gospel” section under the about us menu.
- Worship – Another way to love God is to give him credit for all that he has done by exalting Him and praising Him for all that he has done.
Let our light shine before men in such a way that when they see our good works, they may glorify our Father who is in heaven (Matthew 5:16).
